As part of our programme to support the transition to Bedales, we offer children the opportunity to spend a day experiencing some of the different and exciting subject areas distinctive to the school.

Taster Days 2023/24

  • 8 May 2024 – Bedales Senior Geography Taster Day (for children in Year 6)
Geography underpins our understanding of the world, its people, places, landscapes and environments. Where better to learn about this than on the Bedales 120 acre estate. Learn about the ecosystem of our pond, what organisms live in it and how they interact with the environment, explore the native and natural flora and fauna of the estate, learn to read a map, including how to navigate, then put some of those skills into practice by orienteering our estate exercising the mind and body. It will be an exciting day for all.
  • 8 May 2024 - Bedales Prep Taster Day (for children in Years 4 and 5)
Experience a day of teamwork, with a morning of sporting activities, before ending the day in Outdoor Work, meeting the animals and cooking a snack on the open fire.
