Badley Day 2026

Wednesday 23 September 2026

Badley Day, our annual community day on Wednesday 23 September, brings students and staff together in a whole school celebration of John Badley's vision and the school motto, 'Work of Each for Weal of All'.

This simple phrase emphasises the idea that by working together - contributing individually, as well as collaboratively - everyone can support the wellbeing of the whole community.

Sponsored challenges

During the afternoon, students will choose to take part in one of five exciting challenge activities as part of a fundraising event. Friends and family are invited to sponsor their efforts, with all money raised supporting the John Badley Foundation's 100% bursary programme, strengthening our diverse and inclusive community.

1. Sand Quarry Dash
A race against the clock!

Taking part in the Sand Quarry Dash, participants can join their friends in doing as many laps as they can on this physically demanding undulating course, all while raising funds to create life-changing opportunities for young people.
