Bedales was founded in 1893 by John Haden Badley to educate the ‘head, hand and heart’. Over the past 100 years, the school has evolved and developed – assisted by the generous support of Old Bedalians, parents and others – and the school’s founding principles and spirit still remain very much at its core.
