Bedales’ first Midsummer Music Festival, organised by the Bedales Parents’ Association was a great success last Sunday, raising funds for the John Badley Foundation and Home-Start Butser (still counting but in the thousands of pounds). The event which transformed the Dunhurst pitch into an outdoor festival was a sell-out with parents and students braving the weather and enjoying rock, jazz and classical music from the Bedales and Dunhurst students, plus hog roast, healthy snacks, photography booth, and face-painting. The event also celebrated the completion of the Sam Banks Pavilion. Thank you to all those parents, students and staff who put in so much effort to make it such a success.
