As part of their Sport curriculum, Block 4s have been attending the Peter Ashley Activity Centre at Fort Purbrook this term, participating in rifle shooting, archery, indoor climbing, a string trail, initiative tests and an assault course. In Block 3 students attended Ullswater, an activity centre in the Lake District, within their first few weeks of school, which gave them a fantastic experience of outdoor education. The activities at Fort Purbrook have allowed a continuation of this, utilising some of the skills and experiences students learnt in Block 3, whilst giving them a further opportunity to take part in activities that they would not normally do as part of their core Sport curriculum.
