Global opportunities at the International Universities Roadshow
On 17 September, Bedales welcomed back The University Guys to host the International Universities Roadshow in the Memorial Library, as part of a five-day tour of the South of England.
Renowned for their expertise in international applications, The University Guys brought the roadshow to Bedales to give students valuable insight into the application process, and how to make it more accessible, manageable and successful. The roadshow allowed students to connect with representatives from a range of international universities including McGill University (Montreal, Canada); EHL Hospitality Business School (Switzerland and Singapore); IE University (Spain); Rutgers University (New Jersey, USA); and High Point University (North Carolina, USA).
As well as current Bedales 6.1s (Year 12), a group of students and staff from local independent school Churcher’s College were also invited to attend the event to learn more about the exciting possibilities of studying abroad.
The University Guys provided an inspiring and informative experience for all, helping students to broaden their horizons as they consider their future university choices.
Studying abroad is an increasingly popular choice for Bedales students, with this summer’s leavers securing places at prestigious institutions such as Virginia Tech in the USA, L’Atelier de Sèvres in France and Amsterdam University College in the Netherlands.
