Summer holiday camps at Bedales

This summer, the Bedales estate will play host to a series of fun-filled holiday camps for children, filled with opportunities to learn new skills, meet new friends, and make unforgettable memories.

Tennis academy workshops – 9-11 July, 16-18 July, 23-25 July, 30 July-1 August

Bedales Tennis will be running special tennis academy workshops throughout the holidays for Bedales students and local children aged 5-15, offering a fun and enriching experience on the court.

Children will receive expert coaching from experienced tennis instructors to improve their technique, agility and overall game strategy. They will engage in fun drills, games, friendly competitions and develop valuable teamwork and sportsmanship skills, making new friends who share their passion for tennis.

The following workshops are aimed at both beginners and more experienced players seeking to take their skills to the next level:

• 5-8 years: 9am-12pm
• 9-15 years: 9am-12pm (half day) or 9am-3.45pm (full day)

Activity camps with Active Camps – 22 July-9 August, 8.15am-6pm

Following the success of May half term, Active Camps are bringing their multi-activity holiday provision back to Bedales this summer. Suitable for children aged between four (Reception) and 14, the camps are packed with fun, laughter and unforgettable moments.

Each day will feature a range of activities to suit all interests, from sports and daily swimming, to arts and crafts, team challenges and games, including favourites such as capture the flag and obstacle courses.

The cost of the camp is £51 per day, with discounts for full week bookings (£235 per week, reducing the daily rate to £47). For more information and to book, click here.

Petersfield Youth Theatre Summer holiday activity – 12-16 August, 10am-3pm

Petersfield Youth Theatre will once again be running their much-loved summer holiday activity at Bedales for children aged between five and 13 (Year 8), from Monday 12 - Friday 16 August.

Participants will have the opportunity to rotate through three workshops each day, experiencing theatre games, acting, singing, dancing, storytelling, craft and music. A perfect way to spend a week of the summer holidays!
